Twins born conjoined leave hospital

DALLAS – Baby boys born joined together from their breastbone to their hipbones are doing so great that they’re leaving the hospital.

ABC News reported that the Ezell twins, Owen and Emmitt, will be leaving Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas and they’ll head to a rehab facility before finally going home.


The Ezell family was told the baby boys, now 9 months old, would probably not survive very long; they shared several organs, including a liver and intestines.

But, they were successfully separated in August and are doing very well.
