Fire crews puts out small vegetation fire

canyon fireSAN DIEGO – Crews worked to extinguish a small canyon brush fire Monday evening fire officials said.

Less than an acre of vegetation fire sparked near the intersection of Aero Drive and Santo Road in Tierransanta just before 4:30 p.m., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

There were no reports of structural damages and the fire was extinguished around 8 p.m.
