Crews battle 2-alarm fire

48802003SAN DIEGO – A two-alarm fire broke out at an auto repair shop, and it took firefighter a half hour to knock it down.

The fire was reported shortly before 7:30 a.m. in a second story storage area at Save Auto at 9280 Kearny Mesa Road, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

No one was injured and the cause of the blaze was under investigation, a fire department dispatcher said.
