SAN DIEGO – A 61-year-old woman left for work Wednesday in Poway and has been missing ever since, according to deputies.

Susan Bazeley’s vehicle was located later in a park, said Lt. Clayton Lisk of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

It is highly unusual behavior for her, Lisk said.

Bazeley is 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. She was wearing a dark brown cardigan over gray slacks.

I'm so sad to hear the news about Susan. She was an extremely kind and soft-spoken woman. She will be missed…

Karen, Thank you for stating this. I too knew Susan from many years back and what a nice person she was! Always cheerful. Positive. Genuine. Down to earth. Her daughter was the just like mom too. A super nice family. I cannot reconcile this event with what I personally experienced. Granted, it has been a long time since i had seen her and people and lives can change, but still…So sad. I feel so sorry for her family.
