3 arrested after shots fired at teens damage cars

SAN DIEGO — Three people were in custody Monday, accused in an apparent gang-related shooting in Valencia Park in which no one was injured but several cars were damaged, a police official said.

Bullet hole in glassTwo 19-year-old men standing on a curb in the 5200 block of Solola Avenue were shot at shortly before 9:30 p.m. Sunday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

Neither man was wounded but the gunfire did strike several cars in the area, Delimitros said.

The shots were fired by at least two of three people who got out of a Ford Mustang just moments earlier, shortly before the trio was pulled over in the Mustang nearby and arrested, Delimitros said.
