Presidents Day closures

courts-closedSAN DIEGO — Local, state and federal government offices will be closed today in observance of Presidents Day.

The closures include administrative offices, libraries, pools and recreation centers.

In the city of San Diego, the Miramar Landfill will be open with regular hours from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Also, Chollas Lake, the Mission Trails Regional Park Visitors Center and municipal golf courses will be open. The golf courses will operate on their holiday hours and rates schedule.

Parking meters in San Diego will not be enforced.

County of San Diego parks, campgrounds and neighborhood day-use parks will be open but community centers in Fallbrook, Lakeside and Spring Valley will be closed.

Metropolitan Transit System buses and trolleys in San Diego will operate on a Saturday schedule. That means most express and premium express buses will not run.

The North County Transit District’s buses and trains will operate on a normal schedule.

Refuse collection at homes served by the city of San Diego or Waste Management will also run on a normal schedule.
