Deputy involved shooting in Vista

Sheriff's Tape LineVISTA, Calif. – There has been a deputy-involved shooting in the 2000 block of South Melrose Drive in Vista that occurred at 6:18 p.m. Friday night, reports the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

No deputies were injured, according to the sheriff’s department.

An investigation is underway and Sheriff’s are urging people to avoid the area.
