SAN DIEGO – San Diego Restaurant Week celebrates it’s 10th year beginning Sunday with more than 180 restaurants participating this year.

From seafood, sushi, American to Italian cuisines, diners can take advantage of great discounts.

crab foodRestaurant week offers foodies multi-course meals starting at $10 for lunch at some places and anywhere from $30 to $45 for dinner.

“We are expecting 1500 people,” said Joey Busalacchi of Busalacchi’s A Modo Mio in Hillcrest.

Busalacchi says restaurant week is great for business because it attracts people who may have never thought to pay a visit.

“It gives them a chance to enjoy many restaurants around town,” he said.

Restaurants in almost every part of the country are participating, but most are in La Jolla, downtown, and uptown.

“I usually go to sushi restaurants in Hillcrest or Bankers Hill,” said Jeff Zwally.

Others who crave a bit of adventure can try Greek or Persian cuisine for affordable prices.
