Motorcyclist hurt in hit-and-run crash

SAN DIEGO — Police were on the lookout for a white Honda Civic that drove off after collision that injured a motorcyclist Wednesday morning.

Battrick. The 33-year-old motorcyclist suffered a minor head injury and a fractured right leg, Battrick said.

Witnesses said the driver of the lowered Honda fled north onto I-15 after the accident. The car had a roof rack, is missing the driver’s side rear-view mirror, Battrick said.

Although the crash tool place off the freeway, it caused the closure of some freeway ramps, resulting in backups on southbound I-15.
