SAN DIEGO – A new survey shows that Chargers rookie linebacker Manti Te’o ranks second on the most-disliked NFL players list.

The survey by Forbes and E-poll market research put Te’o second behind only Michael Vick – the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback who served time in prison for his part in a dog-fighting ring.

chargers boltThe poll surveyed 1,100 people age 13 and over who considered themselves casual fans and measured public opinion on things like likeability, awareness, confidence and many other attributes.

Te’o scored a 48 percent dislike rating, mostly due to the fake girlfriend hoax last year while at Notre Dame.

On Monday, Te’o addressed the survey and said what he thought about his ranking.

“I’m going to continue to do what I’m doing. That stuff doesn’t really matter to me,” Te’o told Fox5. “Obliviously, those guys who voted for that don’t know me…I bet if they knew everybody else on that list they would be considered likable.”

Please, I am begging you Fox 5, hire a new proofreader. There are always grammatical and spelling errors in your articles.

I know all the people that work for Fox5 are morons. I know 3rd graders that can spell and put sentences together better than their reporters. How did they get their jobs? Oh I know by sucking the hiring supervisor's ????
