San Diego charity helps Boston Marathon victim

BOSTON – A San Diego-based charity is helping a victim of the Boston Marathon bombing move forward with her life.

boston-marathon-victimThe Challenged Athletes Foundation presented a prosthetic running leg for Heather Abbott, who was injured during the terrorist attack.

Abbott lost her leg when the bomb went off near the finish line of marathon.

Along with the prosthetic leg, Abbott will also get personalized training from the foundation.

Four other marathon survivors participated in an amputee running clinic Sunday with Abbott.
