Short man robs bank near SDSU

SAN DIEGO — A short man walked into a Chase bank branch in San Diego late Wednesday afternoon and escaped with cash.

The suspect walked into the branch at 4627 College Avenue at 5:42 p.m. and presented a demand note to a teller. He walked out with an unknown amount of money. No injuries were reported, said Special FBI Agent Darrell Foxworth.

The robber was described as a man in his 30s, 5-feet, 3-inches tall, medium build with a mustache. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, dark jacket, light colored shoes and sunglasses.
