San Diego Restaurant Week kicks off

SAN DIEGO – San Diego Restaurant Week, an event that showcases many of city’s best restaurants, allows people the chance to enjoy a meal they might have thought was out of their budget.

foodMore than 180 restaurants are participating in the week-long event that runs from September 15 – 20.

No advanced purchase is necessary.  Guests can head to the restaurant of choice, although some restaurants might be booked in advance.

Three-course pre-fixed menus range in price from $20 to 40 per person for dinner. Two-courses are offered during lunch hours and is less expensive.

Reservations are strongly suggested, since more than 100,000 people are expected to participate.
