Cocaine-Found-Inside-Spare-TireSAN DIEGO – Around $1.3 million worth of cocaine was found concealed in a spare tire of a pickup truck at the Otay Mesa port of entry, officers said Wednesday.

A Ford F-150 pickup truck was attempting to cross from Mexico to San Diego at 5 a.m. Tuesday when a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer’s canine was alerted to the vehicle, CBP said.
