Gas drops to lowest price in 3 months

SAN DIEGO — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Sunday to its lowest amount since May 7.

Gas-pump-2The average price decreased six-tenths of a cent to $3.934.

It’s the 19th consecutive day of decreased pricing and is 6.2 cents less than one week ago, 9.4 cents less than one month ago and 11 cents below what is was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has dropped 14.6 cents over the past 19 days, including six-tenths of a cent on Saturday.
