SAN DIEGO – Comic-Con 2013 has officially begun and it’s one of the only places in the world where fans dressed in crazy costumes have a chance to rub elbows with Hollywood A-List celebrities.

Sylvia Torres and her friends have been camping outside the San Diego Convention Center since Tuesday night in hopes of getting prime seating to listen to behind the scenes stories from the actors of the “Ender’s Game.”

“I’m feeling stressed, anxious, excited, happy, I don’t know it’s crazy,” Torres said. “I love that the main character is a woman and she really is a heroine.”

Chloe Palka is attending Comic-Con for her sixth time. Fox5 found the veteran camped out for the Eder’s Game panel, but she’s excited to see what the convention floor has to offer.

Sony is letting fans try out the new PlayStation 4 console and DC Comics is planning a massive Superman 75th anniversary celebration.

“I think this is going to be the best year yet,” Palka said. “It’s pretty much all of the best things in entertainment and all of the best people are in one place. It’s like nothing else.”
