3 masked gunmen rob Wendy’s in Kearny Mesa

SAN DIEGO – A fast food restaurant in Kearny Mesa was robbed at gunpoint early, a police officer said. Three men, one carrying a gun, demanded cash from three female employees at the Wendy’s restaurant at 4770 Convoy St. shortly before 1 a.m., then ran off with the money, San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.

No one was injured, Stafford said.

All three suspects were wearing masks, jeans and hooded sweatshirts, Stafford said.
