Paragliding victim was from Colorado

IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. — Authorities Thursday identified the paraglider who died from a fall in Imperial Beach as a 48-year-old Windsor, Colo. man.

paragliderHenry Ho was paragliding with an instructor and classmates shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday and crashed onto the rocks south of the terminus of Seacoast Drive, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Sheriff’s deputies, firefighters, paramedics and lifeguards responded to the scene and resuscitative efforts were initiated, but he died from injuries sustained in the fall, sheriff’s Sgt. William Uelen said.
