SAN DIEGO — Charger players, cheerleaders and members of the organization will be out in force countywide thanking fans for their support on Monday, which has been designated “Thank you San Diego Day.”
“Monday will be our day to say ‘thank you’ to Chargers fans and get them ready for the season,” A.G. Spanos, Chargers CEO, said in a prepared statement. “We’re excited about our new leadership and direction and the possibilities that lie ahead, and we want our fans to feel that excitement.”
Seven groups of Chargers personnel will head to venues in North County, South County and East County, as well as making numerous stops throughout the city of San Diego Monday afternoon. They will be thanking fans for supporting the team and building excitement for the upcoming season.
