NASHVILLE, TN — Country music entertainer Joe Nichols hit the stage in downtown Nashville for his annual CMA Music Festival Fan Party on June 6th.  He’s set to hit the stage at the Lakeside rodeo grounds on June 22nd at the KSON Country Fest.

After opening his set today with ‘Joe’s Place,’ a fan was quick to start her flirting with the handsome artist.

“Can I get a kiss,” a fan asked from the crowd.

“Tongue or no tongue,” teased Joe in return.

Joe went on to play his classic ‘Broken Heartsville’ followed by his new single ‘Sunny and 75.’  A group of about 200 people gathered inside the small venue to crowd the stage and get an up close, one on one experience.  The new single is a bit of an off shoot than his past records.  But, fans seem to love it and his sense of humor.

“It may look like I’ve lost weight,” Joe said.  “According to my wife, I’m supposed to wear new jeans seven times before washing them.  My pants are still there, holding on for dear life.  My ass is still here,” he joked.

As fans got comfortable in their seats, so did their questions.

Someone asked, “Have you ever said the wrong city?”

“I think I said the wrong city only twice…in the same city,” he laughed.

After promising that no question was off limits, a woman then stood up and asked if he’d take his shirt off while singing his next song.  The audience erupted in laughter and clapped encouraging Joe to do it, but after a comical debate it was a no go.  Boooooo Joe!

Before his fan club party, Joe performed outside at the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage in downtown Nashville.
