Gas station held up by armed robber

SAN DIEGO — San Diego police were on the lookout Monday for a man who robbed a Grantville-area gas station at gunpoint.

robberyThe armed robbery at USA Gas Station at 6404 Mission Gorge Road was reported at 11:01 p.m. Sunday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

The gunman wore a purple bandana over his face as he demanded cash, Delimitros said in a statement.

No one was hurt.

Police described the robber as black, around 6 feet 1 and 180 pounds, last seen wearing a white flannel shirt and blue jeans.
