GUN SHOOTINGSPRING VALLEY, Calif. — The apparent victim of a shooting at a Spring Valley bar turned up at a hospital, but the suspect got away, a Sheriff’s sergeant said.

“Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched on reports that shots were fired outside Fannie’s Bar, 9143 Campo Road, shortly after midnight, but found no one who had been directly involved in the shooting,” according to Sheriff’s Sgt. James Blanton.

“Several bar patrons said the victim and suspects had left,” Blanton said. “While deputies investigated in Spring Valley, a person with multiple gunshot wounds arrived at the Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa.”

Details about the extent of the injuries was not released.
