SAN DIEGO – More than 300 people gathered at the San Diego Hall of Champions Wednesday morning to congratulate over 100 athletes who committed to various colleges.

The crowd cheered on the 114 athletes in 12 sports as they signed their National Letter of Intent committing to the college of their choice.

Lincoln High’s Tyree and Tyrell Robinson, along with Horizon’s Darren Carrington Jr. held fast to their earlier commitment to attend the University of Oregon.

Carrington’s father, who played in the NFL for eight seasons, spoke at the event which started at 8 a.m.
