Cops release photo of stabbing suspect

CHULA VISTA, Calif. — Police Thursday released a security camera photo of a man wanted in connection with a stabbing in a South Bay convenience store.

The assault took place on Oct. 15 in a Circle K store at 50 Broadway in Chula Vista. A man and his girlfriend were in the store when two men issued a gang challenge. The three men began fighting and a fourth man entered the fray and stabbed the victim in the chest and face, critically injuring him, police said.

Police have arrested two suspects in the assault, but the man who stabbed the victim (seen in the accompany photo) has not been identified, police said. He is described as a Latino man between 28 and 35 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 175 pounds.
