Gas prices expected to decline in San Diego

gasPumpSAN DIEGO – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County fell Sunday to its lowest amount since July 18, dropping three-tenths of a cent to $3.73.

The average price has decreased on 54 of the past 55 days and is 4 cents less than one week ago and 29.3 cents lower than one month ago, but 8 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has decreased 98.6 cents over the past 55 days, including six-tenths of a cent on Saturday. The average price decreased for 48 consecutive days, was unchanged Monday and resumed dropping Tuesday.
