SAN DIEGO — Two gunmen forced a driver out of his Mercedes in Bay Terraces early Tuesday and drove off with the vehicle, police said.

The carjacking in the 300 block of South Meadowbrook Drive was reported at 1:49 a.m., San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.

The victim told investigators the gunmen, one carrying a shotgun and the other a handgun,  walked up and pointed their weapons at him as they forced him out of his car, Stafford said in a statement.

They then fled in the victim’s white 2007 Mercedes E350 sedan, California license plate No. 6ACH063, he said.

The one who wielded the shotgun was bald and appeared to be in his mid-30s, around 6 feet tall and 175 pounds, Stafford said.

The other carried the revolver and was described by police as in his mid-20s, around 5 feet 7 and 200 pounds.
