reporter bio pictureSince I picked up the microphone for my first live news report in Fort Smith, Arkansas in 2001, I’ve called a newsroom home. I worked in Cincinnati, Ohio before moving to America’s Finest City in 2006.

Like Forest Gump said, “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.” That just about sums up the day of a news reporter.  Every day is different, every story unique.

I take great pride in being a storyteller and my favorite part of the day is sitting behind the computer to craft my story.  Having people trust me to tell their story is an honor.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I’m a huge country music enthusiast!  On my days off – don’t be surprised to catch me out a country show, a rodeo or hopping a plane to Nashville.

If I wasn’t in television…

I’d learn to be a real estate investor and entrepreneur.

Dinner for 5 who’s invited…

My dad who passed away in 1990, Bethenney Frankel, Oprah, Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton because I think she’d just be a blast!

I give back to the community by…

volunteering for children with cancer since 2006.

One day I hope to…

start my own charity and own a countryside home.
