SAN DIEGO -- A SWAT team joined sheriff's deputies in the search for a shooter in Ramona after a man was killed, the according to San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
The shooting was reported at 8:34 Sunday evening in the 15900 block of Woodrock Lane and Mussey Grade Road, according to sheriff's Lt. Matthew Glission. When deputies arrived, they found a man on the ground with gunshot wounds. He died from his injuries.
Deputies blocked the area to search for the gunman with the help of the SWAT team until about 5:30 a.m.
Authorities did not release the names of the victim or the gunman.
