Hiker injured in fall at Three Sisters Falls

SAN DIEGO -- Emergency crews are working to rescue a hiker who was injured Thursday in a fall in the Three Sisters Falls area of Cleveland National Forest.

The 35-year-old man, who is conscious, will be airlifted out of the back-country area by a helicopter crew, a Cal Fire spokesman says.

Details on the extent and nature of the victim's injuries were not immediately available.
