Weekend storm drenches county

SAN DIEGO – The cold, wet storm that drenched San Diego County over the weekend broke numerous precipitation records and covered the counties highest peaks with snow.

Rainfall totals ranged from a low of about ⅓ of an inch in Solana Beach to 2.47 inches on Otay Mountain. At higher elevations, snowfall totals ranged from about 4 inches on Mount Laguna to nearly 10 inches on Palomar Mountain.

The totals below from the National Weather Service are preliminary as of 5 a.m. Monday:
