Woman injured after crashing SUV into home

SAN DIEGO – The driver of an SUV veered off a road and crashed into a home early Monday morning in Paradise Hills.

The crash happened at 5 a.m. on Daisy Avenue near Honeysuckle Lane. No one inside the house was hurt, but the 64-year-old driver was taken to hospital with a broken neck and a brain bleed, authorities said Monday afternoon.

Her injuries are not life threatening.

Police said the woman was not suspected of driving under the influence.
