SAN DIEGO -- About 20 power outages remained Saturday morning throughout the county due to the recent severe weather, according to San Diego Gas and Electric.

The number of customers affected by the outages ranged from hundreds to a handful, depending on what part of the county was affected.

Outages were reported from the North County area of Pala, to San Ysidro in the South Bay and Pacific Beach to the west, to Japatul Valley and Buckman Springs to the east.

SDG&E officials estimated that power would be restored to most, if not all of the affected communities at some point Saturday.

About 35,000 homes and business across the San Diego area were without power on Friday due to storm-related utility equipment problems. Another storm was expected to hit the San Diego region Sunday.
