Bat-wielding man attacks 2 women outside bar, police say

CHULA VISTA, Calif. – Police need help identifying a man they say beat two woman with a baseball bat outside a Chula Vista bar in October.

According to police, the brawl began when a fist fight broke out in front of the On the Rocks Bar on October 15.  The suspect is seen in surveillance video apparently beating two women in the head with an aluminum baseball bat.

One victim sustained a laceration that required stitches and the other suffered "debilitating" skull fractures and needed rehabilitation, police said.

The suspect is described as a 25 to 35-year-old Hispanic man with a distinctive tattoo on the right side of his neck and his right forearm.
