CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand — Buzz Aldrin is “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” as he recuperates at a hospital in New Zealand.
The legendary astronaut remains quarantined after falling ill during an expedition to the South Pole.
The second man to walk on the moon was part of a tourist group visiting Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station when he became sick and was transported to a hospital in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Over the weekend, his official Twitter account tweeted a picture of Aldrin, 86, reading magazines and a newspaper with the headline “Kids emulate Kim K’s ‘porno style'” with a picture of social media celebrity Kim Kardashian.
It’s possible the avid explorer also has a case of cabin fever from being cooped up in the hospital too long.
