Woman charged with embezzling $500K from concrete company

ESCONDIDO, Calif. – A Temecula woman accused of embezzling more than $500,000 from her employer, Betz Concrete, was arrested at her home Wednesday.

Sheila Jo Jackson, 46, faces charges of embezzlement, forgery, grand theft and identity theft.

Police began investigating when the employer discovered suspicious account activity and notified authorities.

Police believe Jackson embezzled the money over several years.  She is being held on a $1.1 million bail.
