SAN DIEGO -- A protest against President-elect Donald J. Trump was underway Friday night at Chicano Park in Barrio Logan.
More than 100 people were protesting at the corner of Cesar Chavez and Logan Avenue, some holding signs critical of Trump.
The group then marched more than a mile along Cesar Chavez Parkway before wrapping up the 2-hour protest in Chicano Park.
Protesters stood around a large sign featuring the Spanish phrase "Fuera Trump" -- meaning "Get out, Trump" -- in white, glow-in-the-dark paint.
There has not been any violence or other law-breaking reported, according to the San Diego Police Department.
Officers did block off roads and entranceways to nearby highways as a precautionary measure.
