PHOENIX -- An Arizona man must have worked up quite an appetite while evading police Wednesday night.

According to Fox News, Phoenix police officers attempted to pull over Josh Adkins for an outstanding warrant around 10:30 p.m.  Adkins, who was driving a white pickup truck,  did not stop as ordered and led police on a low-speed chase.

Although he wouldn't stop for officers, he did made a quick pit stop at an In-N-Out Burger location.

Aerial footage shows the suspect pulling up to the drive-thru window to place an order. His car is seen waiting for several minutes before heading to the service window.

Adkins was able to evade the police long enough to get out of the restaurant parking lot.

He eventually drove into a residential area near the fast food restaurant and got out of his truck.

The chase continued on foot until Adkins, who tried to break into a home, was apprehended in the backyard of a house by several officers and taken into custody.

No word on whether Adkins ordered a double-double animal style with a side of well-done fries.
