SAN DIEGO -- President Barack Obama took in some golf Monday morning while in town for a Democratic fundraiser in La Jolla.

The president arrived Sunday night at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar aboard Air Force One.

Following his morning on the links, where he was seen he waving and exchanging greetings with others on the course, the president is scheduled to attend the Hillary Victory Fund reception at an undisclosed private location in La Jolla.

Obama also visited the famed course last October, and shocked a couple who was getting ready to tie the knot.

When the ceremony time came, the President was finishing his game at the 18th hole, which happened to be right in front of the ceremony site, according to the couple's photographers the Youngrens.  The bride and her family were seen pressed up against The Lodge's windows watching the president swing away.

After he finished it, the couple was allowed to walk up to Obama, who greeted them with hugs and a photo-op.
