San Diego gas prices rising slightly

SAN DIEGO — An eight-day streak of increases ended Friday when the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County was unchanged, remaining at $2.821.

The average price rose 5.9 cents during the streak, including seven- tenths of a cent on Thursday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 4.1 cents more than one week ago and 9.9 cents higher more than one month ago but 17 cents less than one year ago.
