Dental office damaged by fire

SAN DIEGO – A two-story dentist office in Bankers Hill neighborhood was damaged by a fire Monday, a fire official said.

San Diego Fire-Rescue Department crews were battling the fire in the 2700 block of 3rd Avenue, near Nutmeg Street. Smoke and fire were seen coming from the building around 3:15 p.m., SDFRD officials said.

Everyone who was inside the building made it outside unharmed, according to San Diego police.

No other information was immediately known.
