SAN DIEGO — An unidentified 48-year-old woman was crossing the 7600 block of Linda Vista Road when she was hit by three separate vehicles around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to police, none of the three drivers stopped to help the woman and are now considered hit and run suspects.

Jennell Garland was working at a nearby taco shop when an employee next door rushed in to tell her about the accident.

“We went outside and crossed the street. She was just lying there. We couldn’t really tell if she was alive or not,” said Garland, who called 9-1-1.

Garland said she stayed with the woman until police and paramedics arrived.

Police haven’t released much information about the victim or suspects, who have been described as driving a dark-colored sedan, a full-size pickup truck with a camper, and a red sedan.

Police identified one of the suspect vehicles Wednesday as an early ’80s Toyota Camry with front hood and windshield damage but did not specify a color.
