Man stabbed, seriously injured during argument

SAN DIEGO — A man was stabbed during an argument with another man in San Diego, authorities said Friday.

The men were arguing at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at 1200 K Street, said San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

“One of the men produced a knife and stabbed the other in his left side under his armpit,” Delimitros said. The suspect fled the scene.

The victim was taken to a hospital with wounds that “are serious but are no longer considered to be life threatening,” the officer said.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, 30 to 40 years old, bald, with a light complexion and a tattoo on the back of his head. He was wearing a bright orange shirt and white shorts, Delimitros said.
