CHULA VISTA, Calif. — A downed power pole near the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista snarled traffic for motorists heading to the Dave Matthews concert Friday night.

The pole was knocked down in a morning traffic crash, blocking the roadway for most of the day at Heritage Road. The Chula Vista Police Department urged concert-goers to use state Route 905 and Caliente Avenue as alternates.

By late afternoon, two eastbound lanes of Main Street were reopened from Interstate 805 all the way to the venue entrance, according to police.

The concert was scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
