Fans disappointed after Park View Little League loss

CHULA VISTA, Calif. — Dozens of fans packed the Buffalo Wild Wings in Eastlake Tuesday to watch the Chula Vista-based Park View Little League ultimately lose to a team from Tennessee in an elimination game in the Little League World Series.

The game in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania went into extra innings. The Chula Vista kids came up short, losing 4-2 and thus ending their run at the Little League World Series.

“The boys fought. They’ve done that all season. They didn’t give up. No matter what, win or lose, we’re proud of them,” said Sarah Camacho.

Park View Little League is planning a homecoming for the team after its return to Chula Vista.
