A La Mesa road caked with mud after a broken water line caused a mudslide Wednesday night has reopened.

LA MESA, Calif. – A La Mesa road caked with mud after a broken water line caused a mudslide Wednesday night has reopened.

Crews cleaned up about 4 inches of mud and debris that covered both east and westbound lanes of Lemon Avenue.

Drivers were fishtailing and had a difficult time staying on the road. No homes were damaged.
