SAN DIEGO - A thief was caught on home surveillance video stealing a package from a quiet North County neighborhood this week.

Won Kim said he watched in shock as his surveillance cameras revealed a man walk up to his front door, and walk out of the frame, carrying a package he had ordered.

The package belonged to Kim's young son, Hudson. He had ordered a Lego robot part to complete his latest Lego creation.

San Diego police said Kim filed a report with them Tuesday, June 21, after the crime took place just before 5 p.m. The home is located along Auburn Ridge Way near Mesa Verde Middle School in Rancho Penasquitos.

Kim told FOX 5 he was shocked at how brazen the thief was for swiping the package in broad daylight. He also said he had been home at the time but did not hear the doorbell when the package was delivered at his doorstep.

In the video, a white older model Lexus sedan was seen driving up and down the street in 3 minute intervals. Neighbors told Kim they believe the thief had an accomplice, saying they saw two men with shaved heads in the vehicle seen on the video.

The burglary suspect is described as having a shaved head and was wearing a Chargers jersey with black shoes and black sunglasses on his head. He may have been driving a white, older model Lexus sedan. If you have any information you are asked to call San Diego police.
