Woman robs North Park pharmacy

SAN DIEGO — San Diego police are searching for a woman who allegedly used a demand note to rob a Walgreens store in North Park.

The woman claimed she was armed and passed a note to an employee behind the counter at the pharmacy on University Avenue near 32nd Street around 9:15 p.m. Sunday.

What was taken was not immediately disclosed.

Police described the suspect as white, in her early 20s and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. She was last seen getting into a vehicle in the parking lot.
