Mom, baby hide after bullets hit their home

CITY HEIGHTS, Calif. – A mom and her sleeping baby took cover after bullets hit the wall of their apartment complex in City Heights Monday.

According to police, the incident started with a bar fight on El Cajon Boulevard near Marlborough Avenue around midnight.

Somebody in a gold Ford Expedition reportedly fired shots at a man who was running from the bar.

Bullets hit a Toyota Tundra truck near the scene and an apartment complex.

According to police, the mother heard the gun shots and grabbed her baby, running to the other side of the home.

Nobody was injured in the shooting. Police continue to investigate.
