LOS ANGELES – Organizers of the Coachella music festival hope to book six of the biggest bands from the 1960s for a three-day fall music festival in Indio, according to a published report.

Festival organizers are trying to line up Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Neil Young, the Who and Roger Waters from Pink Floyd, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday.

The six acts have never before played together at a single concert venue.

The organizers hope to stage the mega-concert on the grounds of the Empire Polo Field in Indio from Oct. 7-9, the Times reported.
