SAN DIEGO — Two masked men armed with guns robbed a Barrio Logan market Friday afternoon.

The thieves, who appeared to be in their 20s, confronted a clerk at the business in the 2800 block of Main Street and demanded cash shortly before 2 p.m., according to San Diego police.

After the employee handed over an undisclosed amount of money, the pair left the store and fled west on Boston Avenue, Officer Frank Cali said.

One robber was thin and wearing a brown shirt, and his accomplice was heavyset and clad in a black shirt. Each had a handkerchief covering the lower part of his face, Cali said.
